Rachel Finklestein is an artist and educator based out of Mexico City. Rachel is passionate about using art as a vehicle for community engagement, empowerment and social change, and is inspired by the beauty, complexity and continual movement of the world around her. She works in a variety of different media: pen/pencil on paper, linocut printmaking, acrylic paint on canvas and indoor/outdoor murals. She also enjoys creating collaborative pieces, and opening up spaces where people feel comfortable expressing themselves through the arts! Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Rachel has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Latin America and Europe. Her preferred mode of transportation is the bicycle!

A Rachel le apasiona usar el arte como un vehículo para involucramiento, empoderamiento cambios sociales en la comunidad. Está inspirada por la belleza, complejidad y movimiento continuo del mundo al su alrededor. Ella trabaja con una variedad de medios: lápiz/pluma en papel, grabado, pintura acrílico, murales en paredes tanto al interior como al exterior.  Le gusta mucho crear piezas colaborativas y abrir espacios en dónde todo el mundo se sienta cómodo expresándose a través del arte. Originalmente de Boston, Massachusetts, Rachel ha viajado extensamente por los Estados Unidos, America Latina y Europa. Su medio de transporte preferido: la bicicleta!
